Yunho at Incheon Aiport~ Return from Nairobi [09.29.13]

On September 22nd, Yunho headed to Kenya to participate in the KBS Charity Program, 'Road for Hope'. The program is about celebrities volunteering abroad. I think he was supposed to fly back to Korea on the 27th, but he missed his flight. So, he had a layover and didn't fly out until the 28th. He plane arrived at Incheon around 4:40 am on the 29th.

Not that I need a special reason to WANT to see Yunho, but I especially wanted to see him bc of all the turmoil that is currently happening in Kenya. I haven't seen him since July, so I had a strong desire to make sure he was okay.

Even though it was close to 5 am in the morning and he just got off a 12-hour flight, he looked gorgeous! Normally when I see him that early in the morning, he's understandably exhausted. But he was very alert and well-rested and didn't have any stress acne... probably jet lag bc when he arrived in Korea, it was still evening in Kenya. Or maybe was able to rest due to the unexpected extra day. But whatever the reason, he looked fantastic.

Then I found out that Junsu was coming back from Sydney later that night. His flight was supposed to land at 7pm so I got there around 6:30pm. It was a Sunday night so there were tons of ppl at the arrivals gate. And Junsu went through another gate. All the fans were disappointed. I was okay bc I got to see Yunho that morning, but... next time Junsu! This is the only pic I have from that experience.

[Update] SM Pop Up Store in Myeongdong [June 2013]

EDIT: The Pop Up Store is still open... for reasons that escape me. The staff said that it was closing on Sept. 30th but it didn't. Maybe this "pop up" store is going to become a permanent Everysing location? Or maybe they want to keep it open until SMTown Week? I don't even know.

This is an update of this post here : http://cassiefied.blogspot.kr/2013/09/sm-pop-up-store-in-myeongdong-june-2013.html

Today I went back to the SM Pop Up Store. I asked the staff  & they told me that the store will close on September 30th.
Also~ Surprise surprise! They got a new TVXQ item. It comes in 2 colors: black/gray & yellow gold.
I obviously got the black/gray kind.

SM Pop Up Store in Myeongdong [June 2013]

In the basement of the Lotte Department Store Young Plaza, SM Entertainment opened a "pop up store" to sell new SM artist merchandise on June 28th.
This is SM's 2nd pop up store and it's at least twice the size of their 1st pop up store. They opened the 1st one up in January 2013 while SNSD were promoting "I Got a Boy." This time they opened it while Exo are promoting "Wolf" and "Growl."
As you can expect, Exo had the majority of the goods. I think it's safe to say that half the store was devoted to Exo merch.
However, I believe the 1st pop up store was only open for 2... maybe 3 weeks. This pop up store has been open for 2 months. I heard that it was supposed to close on August 28th, but SM is apparently extending that to September 30, 2013.
Also unlike the 1st pop up store, SM kept introducing new Exo merch every few weeks. So fans would keep going back for the new merch.
They added a few new things for the other groups like flip flops, travel packs, oil blotting paper, nail stickers, bookmarks, etc. but it was mostly the same merch from the 1st pop up store.
Again, Fx is always the under appreciated artist at these stores. =/ They have less merch than everyone else.

Trip to Fukuoka or How I Only View the World Through the Eyes of a DBSK Fangirl

So, I recently had to go to Fukuoka to renew my visa. To get a visa, you need to apply for one at an embassy outside of Korea. The closest one to Korea is Fukuoka, Japan. ^^

Since this is my all-things-fandom-blog, I'm only going to post the 3 things that are related to that. However, this trip made me realize that I try to connect everything I see/encounter back to DBSK.

For example...
While walking to my gate at Incheon airport, I see the Hello Kitty Cafe.

My mind immediately connects it to this. And I had to take pics and sit in the same spot that Jae sat in. Even though I was late for my plane and there were calling my name over the pa system.... orz

Also Changmin supposedly took a pic of the Hello Kitty cafe when it looked like this

Then I was walking around the city and came across a Don Quixote store. It's a mix of a dollar store and TJ Maxx. You can buy discounted brand name items but its also full of cheap odds and ends. This store looks like an explosion went off inside. There's stuff EVERYWHERE. And the aisles are so tight and cramped. It's ridiculous navigating this store.

So, again, when I saw the Don Quixote my mind went to this... (part at 13:38)

Finally, I saw the Yahoo! Dome again. This was the first time I saw it again since I went to the Fukuoka Time concert. MEMORIES~!!!!!
I admit to freaking out in the middle of street and dodging traffic to take another pic of this place full of wonderful concert goodness.

So... I think DBSK has doomed me to take pleasure in the world through the eyes of a fangirl. On the fence about whether this is a good or bad thing...
