Mozart Musical 2011

Today was the day of Xiahzart~! Mozart is originally a German musical about the life of Mozart (shocker, I know!) that debuted in Vienna in . . . 2001? The 2011 Korean run of Mozart is being held at the Seongnam Arts Center in Bundang, which is amazingly close to where I live. So, I finished work and was on a bus headed for the subway station by 6:46 pm. The show was at 8 pm, so I still had plenty of time and I had luck on my side for my transfers. So, I arrived at the station by 7:07 and was at the arts center by 7:15.
I looked over the goods being sold, bought a program and the new photobook, and went outside to meet Stephanie. We got our tickets, she bought her goods, and we took pictures with the cardboard cut-outs of the actors. ^.^
Then, the gongs rang so we quickly headed to our seats. Stephanie complained about the seats we got when she bought them off of Interpark. But, they turned out to be really decent and we both had an amazing view of the stage.
I know I've written this numerous times, but art centers are really built well in Korea. Maybe its because we don't have many art centers in NOLA, so I don't have any basis for comparison, but every single art center I've gone to in Korea, the seating was always arranged well so that the entire audience had a clear view of the stage. Some seats are better than others, but every seat is a good seat.

When we were getting settled, I happened to look up and say the back of this guy. He was wearing a white linen button-down and a scarf around his neck. I tapped Stephanie and said, "Wow. That guy is really stylish." And she looked and said, "Yeah. He is styling~!" Then, we went back to our own conversation. The performances were amazing. I teared up several times and Junsu was on form.
When we walked out, I noticed Junsu's dad and told Stephanie, "Hey! That's Junsu's dad." And then, I noticed the "stylish" guy from before was walking with him and I think I said, "Oh. My. God. That's Junho!" Junho is Junsu's fraternal twin brother who also debuted as a singer, but he's more active in China and Japan than Korea. Stephanie and I proceeded to lose our minds. Then Junho turned on the steps and looked at us. We waved ecstatically and he bowed to us. TO US~! It was about a 120 degree bow. \^0^/
After we left, Stephanie and I were bemoaning our lost opportunity to take a picture of them. I'm hoping there is some evidence that they were there and I will co-opt those pictures. ^^

 CURTAIN CALL
The little boy was so cute. I was on the right of the stage, so Junsu came to our side first. Then he and the little boy switched sides. They high-fived as they passed each other. It was really cute. Then the boy did a cartwheel. He was really cute and did his best to steal the show. Watch the video. He's really adorable. ^^
